TOP 3 Gaming Mice For Apex Legends 2023

The device that probably influences a shooter’s success the most is, without question, the gaming mouse.

Especially in competitive first-person shooters like Apex Legends, every pixel counts when gaming because every headshot can be game-changing.

Are you looking for a new gaming mouse to help you perform at your best in Apex?

I’ve picked out three gaming mice that, for different reasons, are in my TOP 3 gaming mice for Apex.

It should be clear that there are countless good gaming mice on the market, and many of them play in a similarly good league. In addition, the choice of a gaming mouse can be very individual.

However, the following three models stand out for me and can usually be recommended without reservation for every ambitious gamer. Of course, as always, we are referring to First Person Shooters. However, should you predominantly play other games requiring a lot more mouse buttons, for example, other gaming mice may be better suited as a compromise for you.

So let’s get started.

3rd Place: ZOWIE EC2-C

Zowie is known for bringing no-frills mice to the market, but they are high quality and made for esports. No unnecessary bullshit, no fancy RGB lighting, but fantastic ergonomic shapes that many first-person shooter gamers love paired with the excellent 3360 sensor.

At Zowie, they focus on the essential thing a gaming mouse needs to do in the shooter space: precisely aiming.

The EC line is my favorite in this regard, I played the Zowie EC2-C for a long time, and depending on the size of your hand or your personal preferences, you can pick the appropriate ZOWIE EC mouse.

As is usual with ZOWIE, everything is plug-and-play. No drivers or software need to be installed. Especially for players who travel a lot in LAN environments or even have to play on foreign PCs (keyword: major tournaments 🙂 ), therefore particularly suitable.

Often copied, rarely equaled, the ZOWIE EC2-C is a great gaming mouse, and even if some features like the mouse wheel leave something to be desired, I can recommend it in the overall package.

2nd Place: Razer DeathAdder V3 Pro

The DeathAdder series from Razer is one of the most widely used gaming mice. And the current version, the Razer DeathAdder V3 Pro, is an excellent gaming mouse for first-person shooters.

The shape has changed slightly compared to its predecessor and is now a bit shorter and thus boxier than before. In addition, there are high-quality optical switches, one of the best sensors on the market (Razer Focus Pro Sensor), and a very low weight of 63 grams.

The changes to the equally good predecessor seem well received because the sales figures have risen sharply. Even in the professional scene, many gamers swear by the Razer DeathAdder V3 Pro.

If you’re looking for a wireless, ergonomic mouse with top-notch components that’s pretty much the best you can get right now, then you should check out the Razer DeathAdder V3 Pro. It’s definitely on the highest shelf in terms of currently available quality, but it also lets you pay princely for that quality.

1st Place: Logitech G Pro X Superlight

However, my number 1 is and remains the Logitech G Pro X Superlight.

Its predecessor, the Logitech G Pro Wireless, was already the first choice for many professionals in the first-person shooter sector, and the further development with the Logitech G Pro X Superlight is just as popular and successful.

If you’re interested in the evolution from the G Pro Wireless to the G Pro X Superlight, please check out the article “Logitech G Pro X Superlight vs. G Pro Wireless – Is The G Pro X Superlight Worth It? (2023)”. You’ll find all the notable details about both mice in the article.

I have been using the Logitech G Pro X Superlight for over two years now, and I am very satisfied the mouse still works flawlessly as on the first day. The mouse is super light (63 grams), glides perfectly, has perhaps the best wireless technology on the market, and has a top sensor (HERO 25K sensor). Of course, the whole thing has its price, but from my experience, I can say the mouse is worth its price, especially since you can get it now quite sometimes in the sale for about 100$; the regular price is about 150$.

Final Thoughts

I have been very satisfied with all three recommended gaming mice in my competitive career. However, I must say that I have always been a fan of Logitech gaming mice, and already in my pro gamer days in Counterstrike 1.6, I achieved my best results with a Logitech mouse, the Logitech MX200 (which unfortunately is no longer available for ages 😭).

Logitech still does not disappoint me, and with the Logitech G PRO X Superlight and its predecessor, the Logitech G PRO Wireless, I finally ended up with Logitech again.

The quality differences to the Razer and Zowie gaming mice are marginal and more a matter of personal preference, which is why I can unreservedly recommend all the models in this article.

If you don’t know which gaming mouse you might like, I can recommend our article “How to Find Your Best FPS Gaming Mouse in 2023 (With Decision Guide)”. Because choosing the right gaming mouse is undoubtedly one of the most important decisions regarding periphery devices if you want to be successful in Apex. Not every mouse is equally suitable for every gamer, and you have to find the right mouse for you.
